Browns, Titans, Broncos, Bears Tickets On Sale Preview! – Saturday July 12th

10 am (local time) - Cleveland Browns

It’s a busy day for NFL single game tickets going on sale! We’ve got Cleveland and Tennessee at 10 am, Denver at 11am, and Chicago at 12pm, so lets preview some key matchups and get prepped for these onsales!

First up is the Cleveland Browns:


The Browns have a wickedly good schedule this year. The first 3 home games of the season against the Cowboys, Steelers and Giants should bring you the most profits. Grab anything you can get (besides overpriced clubseats) and you will make money. Cheap uppers will be golden.. I also like the matchups against the Ravens and Colts. Those games will still make you some good profits, just not as good as the first 3.

About 2,500 tickets for each game will be made available to the public and fans have the option of purchasing up to 4 tickets for 2 games. Only premium games will make you money with this mediocre team. Stick with the matchups against the Colts, Packers and Steelers. Tennessee isn’t the greatest market so fans will only shell out big bucks against the better teams.

11am brings us the Denver Broncos:


Denver is a poor resell market overall. They are selling half priced tickets for a reason (stay away from these by the way.) The Broncos have a weak schedule this year and will be a mediocre team again. I would only go after the home opener vs. the San Diego Chargers. It should be a sellout, and buying the early game means you won’t have to hang on to your tickets waiting and hoping.

Bears tickets will sell well no matter how the team is doing. Even though they have a weaker schedule this year, you should definitely be making money off every regular season home game. The Bears have some pretty die hard fans that are willing to dish out money to see their team. Buy whatever you can get your hands on except overpriced club seats and preseason games. Every game will do well, but the Packers game will be huge. Every one will be searching that game so it wouldn’t hurt to go after some lesser games.

Leaving Tickets At Will Call Under A Different Name

Ticketmaster will allow you to leave tickets at will call under a different name 99% of the time. You just have to phone and make sure it’s ok at that specific venue. This can come in handy when tickets get lost in the mail, or you’ve made a last minute sale and there’s no time to ship the tickets.

If you are ever in a situation where you’ve sold the tickets but it’s too late to ship them or it is really close to the event and your buyer tells you the tickets were lost in the mail, there is a solution!

This can be fixed by phoning Ticketmaster and telling them you haven’t received your tickets (note: don’t try this until 48 hours before the event.)

Tell the Ticketmaster rep that you haven’t received your tickets and they were a gift for a friend/family member/co-worker etc. 99% of the time Ticketmaster will place the tickets at the will call box office to picked up the day of the show. From there, you need to specify that since these were a gift, you won’t be attending the show since you don’t live in the area.

Kindly ask for an alternative pickup name and give them the buyer’s name.

Talk to the rep and find out exactly what the buyer will need to pick up their tickets on the day of the show. Usually it’s the following:

1) Valid ID

2) The Ticketmaster confirmation number

3) Credit card number used to purchase the tickets

For #3 you can either fax a copy of the credit card used or take a picture of it and email it to your buyer so they can print it off and bring it. (MAKE SURE YOU SCRATCH OUT ALL BUT THE LAST 4 DIGITS, THIS IS ALL THEY WILL NEED!)

Finally, make sure you walk your buyer through the process so they feel comfortable, give them all the information they need, and even give them your phone number so if there’s a problem at the box office they can phone you immediately to work anything out.
